| What do you do in the band?
Sing and sometimes play some percussion instruments- tambourine and egg
| Favorite Song Retro@ctive does?
Queen Medley- I love the Love love love part. I could do that all day! Also, 99 Red Balloons. And probably most of all- Wanna be starting something- as song reminds of the nurturing nature of mothers all over the world and the beautiful and healing nature of Mother Earth.
| Favorite Song Retro@ctive will never do?
There are so many- we keep our songs to awesome and danceable songs of 80s. I can think of many great ones that dont fall into that category.
| How old would you be if you didn't know your age and why?
Probably about 18. Full of energy, freedom, hope and choices because thats how 80s music makes me feel. Love it!
| What is your favorite 80's movie?
Im really not a movie person. I did like E.T. though.
| How did you arrive at this band?
Marc contacted me because they needed a lead singer and were playing at Royals Retro Game- and Id never played at Royals Stadium, so, of course it was a YES!!!! Royals won the World Series that year!!!!!!
| What do you do when you're not rocking the stage?
Lots of recovery! Haha. No- for real- I am a Pharmacy Tecnician during the day in a sedentary position. When Im not working, I volunteer in neighborhood association a bit, and sleep, exercise and eat a lot! Also travel when I can. I want to travel the world! I just got back from Africa- and we really did bless the rains down in Africa! Loved it!
| If you could get a message out to a large number of people, what would that message be?
Feed the world, make it a better place- for you and for me and the entire human race. A lot of great words have already been spoken. I prefer the practical application of when the words hit the road. Lots of great wisdom and guidance can be found in 80s lyrics. Be strong. Rock on. Be a reflection of what youd like to see- and watch the world change before your eyes with Peace, love and joy. One more thing, stay away from the heavy drugs. Too many of the incredibly talented artists that we replicate during our shows, are no longer with us because of drug abuse.
| What hobby would you like to take up?|
| If you didnt play the instrument you currently do in this band, which would you play and why?
Congas. I always thought Sheila E was awesome. I wish I could play guitar too- because they are portable and lovely, and I could express myself more fully and creatively at times- I think....
| If you had to change the name of the band, what would you change it to and why?
Like Totally Aweaome!
| What advice do you generally offer?
Usually try to keep it on the brutally honest scale with kindness.
| Anything else???
